O'Shea Family (Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow)

David Murray looked after Funeral arrangements for our dear Parents R.I.P. A funeral is an upsetting task to arrange for any bereaved family and we cannot overstate how considerate, kind, attentive and professional Patrick Murray & Son were during both bereavements. David has high standards. He dealt with all aspects of the funeral arrangements near and far, which eased us through a very sad time in our lives. We cannot recommend Patrick Murray & Son highly enough.

On the 27/10/2020 our precious mom passed away. It was a very sad and difficult time for all of us, losing someone so special. Arranging Mom’s funeral was heart-breaking for me. David was there from the first moment I rang him to arrange everything so Mom could spend her final days with her family in her own home. Thank you David for a beautiful send off for Mom and a friendly and professional service.

I had the need to use Patrick Murray and Son recently with arrangements for my late father, I must say that from the moment I met David he could not do enough for me to help and guide me through the process. No question or request was a problem for David, and he made myself, my family and most importantly my father feel very respected at all time. I wish to thank David and his team for all their help.

On 23rd June 2020, I got the worst phone call I have ever had, my loving daddy had passed away. It was sudden and unexpected, and I was in England, so far away and in the middle of a pandemic. Me and my sister arrived in Ireland that evening, and David Murray (from Patrick Murray & Son) came to see us the following day. I have never arranged a funeral before so did not know what to expect. David was very kind and showed so much empathy towards me and my sister at such a hard time. He was able to answer so many questions and explain the whole process without making us feel we were being rushed. David arranged for Daddy to spend his final 3 days at the home he loved, in his own bed with his family with him he looked so peaceful. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we were unable to meet with the priest, so David helped with the arrangements and order of service. He also called up to the house often to check Daddy was ok and he responded to any phone calls or emails very quickly, even on his day off. We felt as if we could call at any time and he would be there. When it was time for Daddy to go, David did not rush us, he gave us all plenty time to say our final goodbyes before taking him. The care did not stop after the funeral, David sent emails to see how we were he also helped us order his headstone. The compassion and dignity shown to not only to Daddy, but also his family at such a difficult time was amazing and I am so grateful to him and his team for all the support given to us. So, from the bottom of my heart, No one wants to think about losing someone, but it happens, and it helps to have such caring people like David, helping and supporting before, during and after. So, I would like to say thank – you to David Murray, from the bottom of my heart for arranging such a beautiful, dignified funeral.
